Honfleur, a pictorial view

Honfleur, a pictorial view
A first look at this most picturesque port, characterised by its houses with slate-covered frontages, and painted many times by artists. This inner-harbour view, is by no means its best but still, it s quite wonderful to see and stroll around.

An old town, displayed here in an old monochrome manner!

Beautifully composed with lovely glowing light on the boats and buildings. The reflections are lovely. Perfect for B/W and well converted.

Thanks again for another visit and fine comment. This place would blow the mind of most happy snappers and artist alike. The colours are something else but having imagined this in B&W then converting it, it looked perfect for me.

Indeed Christiane, what memories this place generates. Even early in the year though, it was packed with tourist, many from cruise/river ships following the Seine. Glad I brought back memories for you, Herb
