Skadarlija is a bohemian quarter in the center of Belgrade (Skadarska ulica). Every day about 20,000 people visit Skadarlija. Due to the proximity of the National Theater, there were many actors who lived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Other actors, poets, writers, painters came to act with actors.Because of this, many taverns, some of the oldest in Belgrade, were nicknamed in Skadarlija. It was here that dawn was welcomed by artists who entered the history of Serbian culture. One of them is Georgija "Đura" Jaksic / Georgija "Djura" Jaksic (27 July 1832 - 16 November 1878) was a Serbian poet, painter, dramatist and writer who is considered one of the most important representatives of Serbian romanticism.He was also bohemian. His creative and starving life of an educated and temperamental man often took place in the bohemian ambiance of the Skadarlija Taverns Tri šešira i Dva jelena, in front of which in his glory is presented with a sculpture in the picture.

Russian is a wooden toy that consists of dolls that unfold, and inside which there are smaller dolls. Matryoshka is a more correct term, because the figurine represents a mother and not a grandmother. Usually at least 2-6 dolls are included, although some have over 30. They are always made in a cylindrical shape. The dolls don't have hands, they are just painted. Traditionally, images of women in colorful folk costumes are painted on the dolls

Platan by Miloševog konaka is a monument of the nature of botanical character located in BelgradeTopčider's park in front of the Prince Milos's Residence . London plane tree (lat. Platanus acerifolia) is distinguished by the large volumen of the tree and the branched crown. To have been planted around 1830. The height of the tree is 34 meters. The span of the tree crown is 49 meters and the volume of the tree is 7,60 m. The area of the shadow that makes the platan is 1,885 m².

Millennium tower

The Gardoš Tower or the Millennium Tower is 36 meters high and was built in Zemun, in the city of Belgrade, in 1896, at the hill of Gardoš, on the foundations of the ancient Zemun fortress Taurunum from the 9th century. The tower was designed by Hungarian architects, eclectic in a mixture of historical styles, with an emphasis on Romanesque elements. It was built of stone and brick.
