Pick Up and Fly : Osprey

Pick Up and Fly : Osprey
We took a 4 hour cruise up the Kalgan River on the Kalgan Queen. As I had a camera I was forewarned where the fish would be thrown and be ready it was over in seconds but I have 4 stunning sequences from fish floating on the water pick up and fly away in this shot you can see where, pick up and fly away. It pays to keep Both eyes open and watch the bird fly in and out.

this is a trip I can completely recommend for history lesson, facts and humor,

There was no luck in the shot when you know how to use a camera properly and the right lens but a lot of blank phones though...

Thank you Nick i really pays to know a lot about your camera when trying this. 20 shots stunning from first going into the water to get the fish to flying away. I was very happy the planning and a little bit of thought worked so well.

Certainly is the challenge of just getting the shot and coming away with the lot. Many thanks

A great split second capture Steve. That Osprey looks quite different from the ones I have seen live with the white around it. Perhaps it is a juvenile?

Cheers. Herb

From start to finish some 20 shots getting the fish getting out of the water and flyinging away to many to put here but came out stunning. This is a full grown mating part of a pair our Osprey have white chest Dark Back.
