Dry Dock for this Museum Piece

Dry Dock for this Museum Piece
Not able to go inside some thing As 6 3" person wanted to see inside a Sub. Looks like I will keep wanting. Old Collins Class Submarine.

Vassilis Fragos, Fred Fouarge, Gillian Everett, Trudy Tuinstra and 16 other people have particularly liked this photo

I agree with others, must be a very claustrophobic life. Fascinating to see it in dry dock

A great wide capture here Steve. Looks like a bit of rust about. A pity that you are too tall to explore in one of these like I did at Chapham in the HMS Ocelot, an Oberon-class diesel-electric submarine which was operated by the Royal Navy. Quite a different beast to this, being launched in 1962. Not good if you are claustrophobic for sure but most interesting. I have some pictures somewhere. Well done.

Cheers. Herb

Tall or not I would go in but this one is not open to the public I guess the tower to get up to the entry point would be just a bit much to build. one day they just might open it up so I just have to wait.
