I have one of these I have just started this year but I would love to dig one up from the wild . I have feelers out to see if I find some one with one on there property. Its againt the law to dig up a native but the flatten them when the do a new subdivision for homes............. Go figure.

I have a macro bonsaï with a Portulaccaria www.ipernity.com/doc/xata/42437330/in/album/762608
And am trying one with a ficus benjamina and another with an olive tree from the wild, but here it is so dry that it is very difficult to maintain them without a special installation I have no room for...
I love bonsaï and am sad not to be able to have them with my clima, nothing is perfect!!!

Thanks for the link you have to have an auto watering system or be at home all the time to hand water. Both the Ficus and the wild olive are both good to do a lot of wild olives collected from out in the country In the show . I was mainly after the natives to get Ideas for myself I have also Chinese elm very hardy plant in our hot climate and well worth a go.
