Bioluminescence: blue in the water
i did not see this till today not something i have seen since my child hood the big panorama shows it a little but you get a better view on these two photos. Look to the left of Nine Pins reflection on the water you cannot miss the blue.

I saw phytoplancton glowing about 30 years ago, I had my ketch in the Caribean see, I spent the night swimming in their light, I keep this memory as an enchantment...

It is quite Amazing if you look on the link you will see it even better and its all just small algae but what a show. I last saw this in my child hood in the tropics where it happened quite frequently. many thanks.

Ko its not such a common thing but you have to be by the sea if you ever are going to see it . i have see it just like the link but have not see it since. many thanks for writing. i am hoping we are clear night for the 31st Jan for the total eclipse if so i am going bush. spent a lot of time looking and planning.
