SNAKES

Two garter snakes slithered across my boots while I tried to avoid a mud puddle along the trail, one was only a foot long, this was an adult.

When my daughter was 10 years old, she brought a small garter snake to the backdoor and asked, 'can I please have this snake in my bedroom?' I let her keep it in a bucket overnight in the hallway and we put it back outside the following morning.
