Now I know who pollinates these plants. The flowers are so hard to see under their umbrella of leaves.

I'm pretty sure it is not a wooly bear Pyrrharctia moth. I looked at photos of moths until I couldn't keep my eyes open and found nothing quite right. Still, it looks familiar.

I still don't know what species this is. I was mowing some tall grass (with a scythe) this morning and saw many of them. I got a few photos, too. So, they must be widespread and plentiful, but not in my books.

The moths I saw here are a different species. I posted a photo of one. Now I don't know either of them. :-(
