A house cat in a nature reserve
A house cat in the Lion's Park that is marked 'River Restoration Project'. Rare birds breed along this river.
People have cats, but they don't know that their cats roam around in the area, watching birds and because they are excellent climbers, raid the nests, when the chicks have hatched. CAT OWNERS, PLEASE KEEP YOUR CATS IN THE HOUSE AND YARD. There are 40 Million cats in this country and many are doing the same thing as this one, hanging out in nature reserves. Cats kill for pleasure, not for food. Birds are defenseless against house cats.
