Great blue heron by the pond

I think it must be a good location; the water is shallow there and there are lots of little aquatic creatures.

In FL, used to be very still -- camera sound OFF and wait.. and wait.

Will never forget the time while I was doing just that and a Snowy Egret flew just over my head making a very loud sound! Could have jumped out of my skin!
