Yes, I think it is albino. It is a dangerous condition. Thanks for the visit, Nouchetdu38.

Merci pour ta commentaire, Malik. Je n'ai jamais vu d'écureuil albinos ou autre animal sauvage. J'ai peur qu'un faucon l'attrape bientôt.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! LOOK AT THAT!!! YOU LUCKY MAN!!!! Wow, wow, wow!!! Talk about an incredibly RARE find!! They are such targets, I hope this one remains clever enough to evade death by tooth or raptor claws!

I was amazed. I'm not sure I've ever seen an albino animal of any kind in the wild. Even the normal squirrels have difficult and dangerous lives

You certainly had amazing luck to see it. I cannot think off-hand of any albino I've ever seen in the wild. Well...not an animal, but I've found flowers appearing in white when they're not supposed to be! But that's about it!

I stopped by to drop a comment, and you'll find it on your other squirrel picture:

Actually, I took this photo before I saw the squirrel. I haven't seen the squirrel since; I hope it and its mother are okay.

Thanks, Dörthe. I didn't realize the squirrel was there until after I had taken this photo. A few seconds later, I got photos of this squirrel with its mom.
