They need to go. It's such an annoying trend in my opinion, but at least there was a benefit from the red padlock. Now where are my bolt cutters? ;-)

They are called 'love locks' Sarah. Lovers who think that, because they fix a padlock on a fence and throw away the key, their love will last forever. The Edinburgh council ought to get a grip and remove them before the fence is wrecked.
