Today's Saturday Self Challenge is: Broken.
The photo on the left is the broken and bent end of the hour hand on our grandfather clock shown on the right. It is beyond repair and will require a specialist to make a new end for the pointer. Luckily the time is still readable.

Amelia club has replied to Joe, Son of the Rock clubThis grandfather clock was given by my father to my mother on their engagement in 1922. He was a watchmaker and a fine instrument maker and would have repaired this breakage no problem.
Amelia club has replied to HappySnapperI love the detail in the right hand image.............especially the crazing on the face.
