And an ex-lifeboat "Elizabeth Rippon" ... and just above her mast, is the current lifeboat station.

Many thanks for the info re: Elizabeth Rippon. And yes - we passed the lifeboat station, but there were too many tourists there. ;-)

I usually smell the sea when there is more seaweed around, Hubs. There wasn't much here for some reason. Very cold in Bavaria now! I lioke it lije that. It has been mild and dismal in England today.

I love this so well caught scenery Amelia! I do hope to visit all those places in Great Britain once more again; but helas, time is running.

It was an idyllic day, Keith. Not many of those in the UK is there? Today has been very dreary and dull - no incentive to be out and about with my camera.

Thelma looks very good at low tide:-) I also hope to visit GB as long as we don't need Visa....

Brexit is a thorn in my flesh, Gudrun. I might even need to claim Scottish nationality if the going gets tough and Scotland votes to remain in Europe. I think the day that you require a visa is a long way off though. :-))
