Another cracking day here and with the cats taking a morning siesta I decided on a walk on the beach. So with camera, 2 drinks and a few butties stowed I headed off. I took a few snaps along the way mostly on a big zoom (well as big as this little camera lets me) so please excuse quality. With the tide receding there were people with dogs and paddlers and swimmers on the beach, not many as yet but later it will fill up.I had a walk through the rough area because I like the feel of grass under my feet or sand for that matter. There I spied a lovely clump of flowers so I snapped those before sitting on a bench at the far end of my walk to have my early lunch.A lovely view of the Irish Sea, it really was peaceful there with no traffic noise just the faint sound of the waves and the odd bird having a warble so I lingered for a while chatting to passers by before heading home, passing the golf course I spotted some geese in the short rough. That brings a new meaning to the term getting a birdie at the 5th. Home again now with a coffee and the cat's frolicking in the garden, the day goes well so far.
Photos here.

Back soon.
