I have returned after a few busy days sorting computers,keeping the garden under control(sort of) and a family visit to Ellen's house warming.
Today dawned sunny and warm so I decided on a detour on the way to visit my mother.
I caught a bus to the highest point in town and walkes through How Tun wood, down to the old quarry below and on to mothers,a glorious morning for taking a few snaps and showing you a little of England's green and pleasant land.

Some excellent photos. So Ellen has a new home then? Alls good. Meant to tell you Mick, you're name came up on ship. As Rick and I both had some difficulty with the rich food onboard we took to minimal daytime eating. But by late afternoon we were rather hungry. Our dinner seating wasn't till 8:30. So We'd stop by the buffet at 6 as they always had huge chunks of what Im sure you call crusty bread. Grab a piece each to hold us over. They were delicious! Some were seeded, some not. But of course it reminded me of you. I believe we did that almost every day. So good no butter needed

A proper bakers loaf without all the extra ingredients for a longer shelf life etc is how all bread used to taste,proper food
