Twelve old contacts from Multiply made it here around the same time I did. 3 didn't settle and wandered off pretty quickly, 6 visit very occasionally and post little,2 comment most days and post daily,this leaves only one from the refugees who comments daily,that's Jenny. I guess being my friend she would. As I have mentioned enough times the photo posting is a waste of time looks like blogging is going the same way.
I will give it until the new year to see if things pick up as there not enough new contacts posting either, only 2 or 3 regulars.I f it doesn't get any livelier I will be getting the lifeboat ready for launching into the treacherous seas of the Internet or maybe just using the web for contact with far flung family and friends. It may just be social sites have had their day.

Strangely enough Mickey it seems to be going in the opposite direction for me. Blogging has never really been my thing, though I do enjoy reading some of yours and Sue's
Photos was on MP my main thing followed closely by PPS shows which you know about, more and more friends here at Ipernity have suddenly awakened and are now commenting on both Items.
A lot of MP refugees are currently trying Civitar for some reason or other, strange I feel as nearly all of them are not willing to pay for a Social online service, and Civitar will close in a few days when it all gets moved over to the site with the wierd name which as we know is not going to be a free site.
Only 3 days remain at MP. Lets see what happens in a week or so.

There are also many dormant ones here, they're still busy moving whatever they can salvage during these final days. As they were among my most active contacts on MP I expect they will get to it soon.

Well Mick What about those of us who do comment regularly? Are we just chopped liver then? Besides, it's still new.. Still things that need to be learned.. Not all find maneuvering about the web easy. Takes some doing for some..

Thanks for saying I'm here for you, as you very well know - I am. However I do think you should give us more time to get settled here. It still feels new to me, I sometimes have a spurt on blogging, also on photos, but I do love reading others. If there wasn't this site, which I feel safe in, I don't know what I'd do - as you know I can't get out and I look on some of our contacts as very good friends and would hate to lose them. So give it a whirl and let them come back slowly.

One thing is that many of us are not in direct contact yet and those of us that post fro friends and family only do get missed out.
