Colour and more colour!
- 03 Jan 2010 - 3 commentsI don't think I can live in a place where there is no colour! It is very important for me and sometimes I take photographs just because the colours go together. I once had to make a choice - whether to do sculpture or paint. I chose painting, because I

Mahé is 15 months old!
- 21 Jan 2010Mahé gets more difficult to photograph as he moves like mad. The macro ones needed a lot of concentration to get them sharp. He spent the day with us to celebrate our birthday too, which gave me lots of pleasure.

Painting in pastels.
- 23 Jan 2010This is a lovely technique for childrens faces, as it gives a very smooth even finish and the colours blend into each other. It is very difficult as the paper can take only that much of the chalk and then falls off. The pastels don't have a point, so the

How the blind can see!
- 25 Jan 2010 - 1 commentThis is an exhibition organised by Webism, an international painting site. The theme is a very interesting one and I am personally concerned by it, as my twin sister Liz Steiger is totally blind. She used to paint for many years, and even paints now,
