It doesn't matter to be at the center of Terreiro do Paço
the Trafalgar Square
or Times Square
or Sinai
surrounded by deserts I'm distressed by the specie's extinction
and indifferent to the rise of others
new survivors where I assumed it was impossible
incredulous I look around and I find myself lost
fear and ignorance are my guides
I get old I despond I die
nature teaches nothing to pacify me
and God ignores me forever of my eternity
Para mim tanto faz estar no centro do Terreiro do Paço
da Trafalgar Square
da Times Square
ou do Sinai
rodeado de desertos angustio-me com a extinção da espécie
e sou indiferente a que apareçam outras
novos sobreviventes onde supus que fosse impossível
incrédulo olho à minha volta e vejo-me perdido
os meus guias são a ignorância e o medo
envelheço esmoreço e morro
a natureza nada ensina que me pacifique
e Deus ignora-me para todo o sempre da minha eternidade
