Carole King's "It's Too Late" (Carole King - Toni Stern) comes from the album "Legendary Demos".
In 1971 this was on the "Tapestry" album and the result was another number one record on both the pop and AC charts for the talented one. This won the Grammy for Record of the Year in 1972. Originally released as a B side to "I Feel the Earth Move", it was reissued as a double A side. Album cover photographer Jim McCrary noted a survey that found, after children, the most popular thing photographed was people's cats. He moved Carole's tabby and it's cushion into the shot. An iconic cover came to life.
