"My Blue Heaven" (Walter Donaldson - George Whiting) was used as the theme by co-composer George Whiting as a 1924 vaudeville act. Gene Austin (Lucas) recorded "My Blue Heaven:" three years later and turned it into a five million seller. This is one of the best selling singles of all time.
Band member Dave Bartholomew produced the single for Antoine "Fats" Domino and it reached the top twenty in 1956 with the B side to "I'm In Love Again". "My Blue Heaven" featured Herb Hardesty on saxophone.
