Hi I'm divorced, with two great kids. Both my kids are married, son is married and now has two gorgeous children, whilst my daughter is also married but lives in Turkey, so I don't see as much of her as I'd like. Skype is the most wonderful invention ever.......

Unfortunately I've reached the age of 74, but only in years, not in the way I feel. I'm housebound, as I've become disabled from various problems over the years, but always seem to find something to do. I love meeting and chatting with new friends. I also have a passion for my kids, cats, craftwork, patchwork quilting and photography! I live in the gorgeous county of Devon on the south western part of the UK. I have the Atlantic ocean about 3 miles from my home which fascinates me.

Interests:

I'm fanatical about photography, so you'll soon be bored with my pictures. I also enjoy craftwork, patchwork quilting, foreign travel, animals(mainly cats) and in fact my favourite bit is getting to know new people and finding friends.

Favorite music and artists:

Any music with emotion. I love crescendos, and yet I also love pop dance music. I enjoy opera and country & western, but only in small doses. Classical music and middle of the road. See I tend to like most music, apart from rap - can't get my head around that!!!!

Favorite movies and actors:

My favourite film is Band of Brothers and also Saving Private Ryan. Titanic and disaster films. Then you have thriller films. Sci-fi, as long as it's in a believable time, in other words, if it's happening nowadays, like The Day after Tomorrow, Deep Impact. Something you can identify yourself being in it. I also love NCIS with its off shoots too. I also love Crime and Thriller films or series on the tv. Mark Harmon is one of my favourite actors, so anything with him in is on my list!!!!

Favorite books and authors:

James Patterson, Peter Robinson, Lee Child, Michael Connolly, Dick Francis, Val McDermid, Karen Slaughter and all writers under the umbrella of crime writers. As you can gather, crime thrillers are my genre.
