This group exists to handle submissions of image for the "Best of Ipernity" charity photo book project.
The aim is to create a book (or books) of the Best photos on Ipernity. Depending on the level of interest we may do multiple books.
If you'd like to donate then please join the group and discussion and add any photos you'd like to donate to the group.

Photos from the urban environment. Show the life on the streets of towns and cities. Please no static lifeless building shots or snaps of posters. Show life in the Urban environment, but do remember the Ipernity rule that faces are not allowed on any candid photos.

I love the water and live near a couple small lakes, so of course water is one of my favorite subjects. The distortions water creates, ranging from almost indistinguishable from reality to utterly abstract, never cease to amaze me.
My hope is here to have a pool of water reflecting or refracting colors, with almost nothing besides water's uniquely distorted view of the world showing---thus the name water colors . This is a blantant rip off of my fave flickr group: www.flickr.…

Winter presents itself in very different ways in the different climate zones of the world.
Here we would like to show winter pictures from the temperate climate zones . Nature is at rest there. Landscapes are often covered in hoar frost or snow, bodies of water in ice.
