About Ulrich Dinges club

From: Lüneburg

For a few years now, the screen of my PC has been a surface that cuts a lot of time out of my life. Ipernity was my private Tamagotchi in the first few years of photography (to put it positively): I like to take photos and also to give my memories more permanence. Ipernity helps me to make more "tools" available for me and also for others. Today it is more than a reference book for me : when did I do what ? Where on the globe did I photograph which motif? In one or the other case it animates me to deepen a topic or what I have seen...I read up...Now and then an interaction with other users comes about; then I am happy.
What I publish is what I think will be of interest to at least a few other users.

I limit the upload of personal pictures. I group photos regionally, in thematic groups or albums. I enrich the pictures with groups and TAGS. In the blog, I try to write about things that are longer lasting but still interesting. I increasingly realise how important it is to have other private offline hobbies besides online time (here I don't mean travelling or hiking). And it is this public gap that is becoming more important to me.

I am aware that the internet does not only have a positive effect, but also encourages negative developments: Deformation of the real world, stimulus flood and cultural narrowing I would like to mention here. Many a book is no longer published... I'm thinking of regional culture and architecture books, the Brockhaus or the sausage factory hiding from militant vegetarians on the internet and. And since the mass murder in Norway, I publish my name.

I am deliberately limiting myself and no longer publishing on other channels such as Wikipedia or Youtube or Facebook..... I hope to find and be an enrichment at my private hobbyhorse of the community ipernity.
