Ja, beide sind fotogen. Die Südspitze von La Palma ist sehr trocken und die Luft sehr klar. Das Licht ist hier sehr hart. Die Umgebung besteht aus dunkler Lava, die kaum Licht reflektiert. Die Schatten sind deshalb sehr dunkel, weil es kaum indirektes Licht gibt, das die Schatten aufhellt. Gegenlichtaufnahmen sind für den Fotografen und die Technik eine große Herausforderung.
