Beaches
Life's a beach
I'll let you imagine how demanding it was to spend a few days here with friends. Although it was midwinter, the daytime temperatures were about 24 degrees.

Down the beach
The sign tells the name of the beach - and, if you'd been there today, you'd have had all that golden sand to yourself. HFF and have a great weekend, everyone.
Sand and surf
Plenty of sand and surf here! That surf looks a bit risky though, with at least two large rips visible. Anyway, if surfing appeals, here's a song to go with it. Best viewed large.

Lazing on a sunny afternoon
Fur seals on the beach below a lookout. Almost wiped out by the 19th century sealing trade, they now are protected and it's good to see their number increasing. Here's a musical link.
Going fishing
This seemed to be a popular beach for launching fishing boats. Best viewed on black.
The beach is yours...
No shortage of sand here. :-)
Toward the south
Another view of Honeysuckle Beach, taken from near the position of my earlier image. View large and bring out your deckchairs, or maybe just sit on the grass. :-) Here's a musical link.
Quiet beach
Honeysuckle Beach is deep within the Murramarang National Park and was not exactly crowded when we visited. Best viewed large. Here's a musical link.

To the beach
Early in sunset, heading down the track to the beach. Best viewed on black.
HFF, everyone.
