Such beautiful architecture Erich. The half timbered building has many floors! I would love to go inside such a building one day. The towers on the roof windows are magnificent! The stone arches are also beautiful and I can imagine the covered area being very busy on market days.

A beautiful scene Erich. I like the historic buildings surrounding the marketplace. The architecture of the half timbered building is very eye catching. All the buildings seem to be very well looked after and are a credit to the people of Alsfeld.

Katja. Es war sehr ruhig in Alsfeld, an dem Samstagnachmittag. Ins Rathaus ging es nur mit einer vorher angemeldeten Führung im Rahmen der Stadtführung. Wir hatten bei unserer Stippvisiste gut 2 Stunden Zeit. Für da Märchenhaus reichte uns die Zeit nicht. Mit unseren Enkeln hätten wir natürlich andere Prioritäten gesetzt.

sehr schön, Erich! – An der Handelsstraße, die du erwähnst, liegt auch Steinau, wo die Brüder Grimm zuhause waren. => Grimm-Museum (Steinau an der Straße)
