Die Buhnen bewirken, dass uferparallele Strömungen in ihrer Strömungsgeschwindigkeit soweit vermindert werden, dass keine Sanderosion stattfindet und stattdessen die mitgeführten Sedimente akkumuliert werden, liebe Uli. Ein Bild einer Buhne habe ich beigefügt.
