What a bunch of cuties! Funnily enough, I just looked up the collective noun for Ducks.........and there are several, depending on the type of duck and what they're doing. Judite seems to have nailed it as one of the collective nouns is "a raft" of ducks :-))

A wonderful and interesting picture, which I like very much!
When I first saw the thumbnail I thought you had been near Dover and seen some illegal immigrants crossing the channel, but more seriously and in proper size, it is very nice to see them safe on their little island. A village pond near to where I live also provides some floating islands like this..

A great image I would think they feel safe on there, there are two in Thornton reservoir but they are for the cormorants basically for them to nest on but the sit sunning themselves, sun what's that ??? it's raining again I hope you make a pleasant start to the new week Rosalyn

Con el ratón subo y bajo en mi pantalla a los patos, pero estos no se inmutan y siguen ahí:--)
