Hollyhock and Bumble Bee - 19 8 2023

Hollyhock and Bumble Bee - 19 8 2023
I had been out to an event on the day before World Photography Day and was going out to another the following day, so I didn't go out snapping on the day. I took a few photos of flowers in our garden, in between tasks. This is the best of the bunch, but it doesn't seem different enough from many I have taken before, so I have contributed a more individual snap, from the following day, to the WPD group.

Nouchetdu38, Maria Rainer-Giotto, sea-herdorf and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

Thanks, Stephan. I used to take many more flowers and insects, but after a while the interest declined. This was really about seeing if I could find something on World Photography Day, without leaving home. I just felt it wasn't especially different from previous photos to mark the day.
But I am glad you appreciated it.

Thank you, Maria. It was the last surviving flower on the top of the hollyhock plant, so the bees kept coming back to it. I just had to wait until this one was in a good position.
