St.Petersburger Bankbrücke - Fussgängerbrücke über den Gribojedow-Kanal, die das Erreichen einer wichtigen Bank und der Universität für Wirtschaft und Finanzen auch ohne Auto ermöglicht.
Die Brücke wurde 1826 eröffnet. Bereits am Eröffnungstag am 24.07. passierten sie 9000 Fussgänger.

Danke Gudrun! Die beiden PiPs sind aus der St.Petersburger Seite, die ich oben im Begleittext verlinkt hab. So ein schönes Licht gibt es am Tag nur bei nachmittäglichem Sonnenschein. und eben durch die Beleuchtung der Laternen...

Die geflügelten Löwen werden oft als Greifen bezeichnet, sind aber von ihrem Schöpfer, dem Bildhauer Sokolov nicht als solche geschaffen worden. Komisch finde ich v.a., dass sie aus dem Maul Stahlseile spucken...
