Spotted in a corner of Southsea Rose Garden. Go large!

The Royal Garrison Church was originally part of a hospital founded in 1212 by the Bishop of Winchester. The nave housed the sick while the chancel served as the hospital's chapel. The building later served as part of the Governor of Portsmouth's residence before being restored in the 1860s. Although the nave was badly damaged in a 1941 fire bombing raid on Portsmouth, the chancel remains roofed and furnished. HFF everyone. I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Thanks to Jean-louis (below) I think this may be a Nandina Domestica (Heavenly Bamboo) plant. I've just looked and I'm pretty sure I took it in the Japanese Garden in Southsea, so that would make sense!

All of these were taken on the land surrounding Havant Civic Centre, which is about 5 mins walk from my house. All taken with my Olympus EM1 Mk1 camera and 60mm macro lens. I also used a mini tripod. This collage includes a bonus bumblebee bum :-)) Please view large on black. Thanks for looking.

I found this growing on the end of a broken house brick that I use to hold down the lid of our garden waste recycling bin. Seeing Jean's photo ( www.ipernity.com/doc/jean.sinclair/50628348 ) reminded me to go and take this one of my own. Thanks Jean :-)

I spotted this small piece of street art in a seating shelter in Southsea Rose Garden. It's only about 16 inches (40cm) high. I've no idea who the artist is, but I quite like it.

I thought I'd round-up some of my bird photos and present them in one collage. Clockwise from top left we have a Dunnock, a Collared Dove, a Robin and a Crow. Go large for best view. Thanks for looking :-)
