... habt Ihr auch schon mal darüber nachgedacht ?
... ich hab's versucht, bin aber daran gescheitert. Geschenke - ganz unverpackt - machen einfach nichts her, so ein bißchen Blingbling, Glitzerglitzer und sonstiger Kitsch macht Weihnachten doch irgendwie aus, oder ? Dieses Jahr allerdings mischt sich Vorfreude bei mir allerdings deutlich mit schlechtem Gewissen unserer arg gebeutelten Umwelt gegenüber. Wie seht Ihr das ? Jemand eine Idee, wie man es anders/besser machen kann ??

Absolutely possible and still festive.
All reusable materials such as fabrics, cellophane, wood, cardboard, fabric and paper gift ribbon, recycled paper or even wrapping paper that you can print (e.g. potato print) or paint yourself, etc.. In addition, resourceful people have come up with packaging that's beautifully designed and also reusable. Have a look at the web.
thermal power stations pollute,
nuclear power plants are polluting in the long term,
objects made from petroleum are polluting if they are not recycled, let's not even talk about fuels,
importing products from faraway countries pollutes,
using the internet consumes a lot of energy...
What can we do about it?
The remedies are not obvious. Even of good will, our actions are a drop in the ocean.
