i'm a little teapot...

i'm a little teapot...
I've been obsessively making teapots for a while now, and they keep getting smaller... This one measures 1" x 1.6" (2.5" with spout and handle), and holds 8ml of liquid (or one tiny-frog teapet). I tested it using one tiny ball of MEM Tea's Fern Stream Amber oolong, which turned out to be not quite enough for the pot - my cute-but-not-especially-accurate kitchen scale claimed 1g, but I suspect it was closer to 1/3g... With only one (small) leaf doing all the work, the tea was practically color-less, but it held up to many (tiny!) infusions.

As always, the teapets kept the party going long after I was done. :)

I love this; it certainly takes a great deal of skill to make a teapot so small and lovely.
