DSCF0711 Preserved Yelloway coaches at Rochdale - 5 Jul 2015

Sunday 5 July 2015 - In Rochdale the 'Yelloway 100' road run paused in Smith Street, as close as is now possible to where the Yelloway offices and coach station once were. Once upon a time this would have been the view from the door step of the old travel bureau in Weir Street. A new council building now occupies the site. The ornate bridge end over the River Roch would have been visible to thousands of passengers arriving in Rochdale over the years that the company was based here.
