Der Stuhlmannbrunnen in Hamburg-Altona wurde vom Berliner Bildhauer Paul Türpe entworfen. Die siebeneinhalb Meter hohen Zentauren sind eigentlich eine Hohlkonstruktion aus einem Eisengerüst, auf dem die Plastiken aus 2 mm starken Kupferblech aufgeschraubt sind. Wenn mal kein Wasser im Brunnen ist kann man die Schrauben erkennen. Die Kupferfiguren wurden vom Kupferschmied Otto Bommer in Berlin gefertigt.

Wooden houses go up in flames pretty fast- Upernavik fire station is actually just across the road (see map)! The blue buildings serve as fire alarms and water stations

SC92: food A very cold spell in April calls for something warming. Hokkaido pumpkins don't need to be peeled, just deseeded. Cooked in vegetable broth with fresh ginger, ground cumin, coriander, cardamom, cloves. Blitzed and some lemon juice and sour cream added, coriander leaves on top- ready! The salad went back in the fridge;-)
