This year I found a new place to look for new born dragonflies. It was so beautiful to see them hanging around to get ready for flying away...

Those two together is a coincidence? Afaik the dragonfly larvae stage takes years and happens underwater, so parents have no way of following their offspring there, and when the descendants finally surface, the parents are long gone. Wonderful shot, though.

It's not a coincidence Seppo! This one was just born that morning. The larvae is early in the morning coming out of the water to become a newborn dragonfly... It doesn't happen under water but above... :-)
