High Bentley, Green Lane, Shelf, West Yorkshire (September 1958)

A late fifteenth century timber framed open hall, altered and encased in stone 1661 and extended few years later. Photpgraphed when facing demolition in 1958. Thankfully the house still survives and is now a grade one listed building. Much was however lost during its years of dereliction.
