Durham Dubs 2010
A selection of photos from Durham Dubs, the first show I attended after buying Lily, my 1987 Mk2 Scirocco.
This was a small VW show staged in the North East of England by local club, Durham Dubs, and in 2010 it took place at Sedgefield Racecourse.

Time to start another show album, this time for Durham Dubs 2010.
This was the first show I took Lily to. We'd only had her for a few days and it was a chance to meet up with some other folks from the Scirocco Register.

Spotted this little Caddy in the car park. Clean, tidy, understated and riding on a nice set of period G60 steels ... great little truck!

Unfortunately, I can't confirm the model/specification on this one as it no longer comes up on the DVLA records.
I do hope it's still around as it was very tidy!

On the whole a fairly bog standard Polo, but with the pink highlights and the suspect spacing on the registration it made me smile.
I just so hope it's a girl's car!

Lovely attention to detail on this little Lupo, such as the louvres on the front wing and the headlight covers!

I often think a Mk2 looks naked almost without the bodykit, but here's one of the few early ones I actually like.
It helps that it's so clean!
