The Càlamo fountain, known as the fountain of 13 sinks, a Renaissance fountain in Ancona. In ancient times, in Greek times, there was already a fountain here, it was integrated into the city walls in the Middle Ages. It was demolished in 1503 and rebuilt between 1559 and 1560. It consists of thirteen fields, with just as many masks spitting water, hence the name, thirteen sinks is derived. The masks, 12 of which are made of bronze, the 13 of which are carved from stone in the middle, show satyrs and faunas. An old tradition tells that the traveller who wants to return to the city should drink the water that flows from the well.

Splitska an old village on the island Brač , with about 400 inhabitants The name of the village was first mentioned in 1577 AD, when a small castle was built in the village. Splitska has numerous holiday facilities, including restaurants, shops, tennis courts and a post office. The village was inhabited by the Romans to quarry stones that were used to build the Diocletian's Palace and many other buildings throughout Europe. The first inhabitants who settled in Splitska built the Church of St. Mary. In the 13th century the inhabitants left the village because they were threatened by pirates. In 1577 a citadel was built in the centre of Splitska. This castle became the first true landmark of the town.

Pucisca is a settlement and port of the island of Brac. The place is known for its stonemason tradition, the stone from nearby quarries was incorporated into the White House building in Washington. After a long day on the ship and in the saddle of the bicycle, view from our floating hotel to the church of St. Jerome. The parish church of St. Jerome was built in 1566 and is today an important sacral monument of the village. The church has been extended in the course of time, in baroque style. she was rehabilitated. On the altar there is a wooden relief of the patron saint of Pučišća, St. Jerome, made of olive wood. The treasury of this church preserves many valuable sacral objects and the most beautiful church vestments, as well as the invaluable document "Povaljska listina". PiP:
