Cycling around Croatia's largest lake Vransko jezero is the largest natural lake in Croatia , it stretches parallel to the sea, separated by a wide limestone ridge, The lake is a karst field filled with sea water and fresh water, due to its position in relation to the sea level it is a cryptodepression -4metres , a water-filled depression (lake), the bottom of which is below the sea level, but is so filled with water that the lake level is higher than the sea level The water level is not stable and depends on the annual rainfall in the entire lake basin.
