Is that focus stacked in-camera or do you use separate software?

Thanks! I did the "focus shift" completely manually with my old Carl Zeiss T* 1.4/50 and use the Focus Stacker app on the Mac. From my point of view, the result is just as good as in Affinity.

I'm impressed even more in that case Volker.......that's far too complicated for me. I use a MacBook Pro and I didn't know that App existed.

The "pro" level Olympus cameras (and certain lenses) have a feature which does a focus stack of up to 15 images in camera and you can also set the focus differential. It processes them and give you a composite image at the end. If you have steady enough hands it can also be done hand held, but I normally use a tripod.
