Après un incendie en 1976, il ne restait que quelques petits anges brûlés de l'orgue. L'archive, cependant, contient toute la documentation du constructeur. Actuellement, la restauration de l'instrument est effectuée par la société Klais de Bonn (Allemagne) Les travaux ont été un peu entravés par le covid 19.
