I like the cool early day light and the diminishing detail as the eye goes beyond the banners suspended in a makeshift line. Their colour and variety dominates your composition. The trees frame the various components well and make the whole thing come together most effectively. I realise there is a strong political and historical dimension to your picture, but it is not that aspect that drew me to it. On a photographic level alone it is exceptional.
