Crossing the Fen

Crossing the Fen
Situated between March and Ely the fen is allowed to flood to help protect the surrounding towns and villages. Many of the fens are below sea level. Taken from a train I have edited the worst of the dirt on the window !!

Hubs 56, ColRam, yokopakumayoko Francesco, Sonia Roosen and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

I heard on the news how bad your weather has been today, hope for better things tomorrow.
The fens are very boring miles and miles dead flat just a few trees around isolated farms houses all arable so you don't even see any cows or sheep.
