VoR(M)[24] - Fire Queen {1 of 4}
The locomotive "Fire Queen" , built in 1848 by Horlock [Kent], for the 4ft gauge Padarn railway, North Wales, working until 1886. She was preserved by John Smith MP in the late 1960s and displayed at Penrhyn Castle [National Trust] until January 2024, when she was moved for display to the Vale of Rheidol museum in Aberystwyth.
