This is a fault-block escarpment in northern Washoe County, Nevada that forms the northwestern border of a Dark Sky Sanctuary recognized by the International Dark-Sky Association. (The grim name is said to result from supply caches mistaken for graves.) It's ironic because Washoe County contains Reno at its southern tip, and so is considered "urban" by the U.S. Census Bureau.
