Water Canyon waterfall

Water Canyon waterfall
Part of the Tropic Ditch, a project to bring irrigation water to the village of Tropic, Utah. It was completed in 1892 by Mormon settlers and used natural watercourses, as here, as much as possible to save labor--no bulldozers back then! This part now lies in Bryce Canyon National Park, but has been grandfathered in and is still in use.

Don Barrett (aka DBs travels), William Sutherland, Francis Taylor have particularly liked this photo
