Radios
There is a barn at the Fitz Roy estancia, just full of antique items. It appears that they never threw anything away.
Here are some radios. When you live very far from civilization, the radio becomes an important communication device.
We took a tour from Punta Arenas, Chile, to this estancia, among other stops. To get to the farm, our full tour bus was loaded onto an already-laden ferry, and carried over a narrow arm of the ocean. Quite an experience.
