Taken at the Featherdale Wildlife Park near Sydney, Australia.

These cute critters were walking around in the open areas of the facility.

Terrible to see the burning forests in Australia during the last months - and all the dead animals.

Featherdale was started by then neighbours of a late uncle & aunt. I was taken there in the mid1950s as a pre-school aged child. There were some enclosures near the road but most of the land was undeveloped. My main memory is of wandering down the block to watch the trains go past. Thanks for the reminder.

Oh, and it is a good portrait.

Thanks for sharing. The world has certainly changed since those times.

We hope to return to Australia in the future, but currently are "aging in place" with less travel.
